Father’s Day 2027 is Sunday, June 20. No Johns Creek venue had announced Father’s Day plans as of Oct. 5. Here is what Johns Creek has for a dad’s day out.

Golf

RiverPines Golf, 4775 Old Alabama Road, 770-442-5960, is a public 18-hole course along the Chattahoochee River with five sets of tees, plus a full driving range, chipping and putting greens, lessons and a 9-hole par-3 course. As of Oct. 5 the par-3 course was closed for a greens renovation expected to take about two months (RiverPines Golf).

A beer

Six Bridges Brewing’s Johns Creek taproom, 11455 Lakefield Drive, #300, has games, food trucks and live music on its calendar, and the whole taproom is dog friendly. Sunday hours are 12:30 to 8 p.m. (taproom page).

Car show

The Cars for Causes Car Show, run by the Rotary Club of Johns Creek North Fulton, is the city’s car show, held in the fall, not in June. The 2025 show was 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Johns Creek United Methodist Church, 11180 Medlock Bridge Road, with classic muscle cars to modern customs, barbecue and live music. It is free to attend; cars register through the Rotary club (Cars for Causes).

Outdoors

Paddle or fish the Chattahoochee from the Jones Bridge or Medlock Bridge launches; a $5 daily vehicle pass is required (NPS fees).

Juneteenth falls the day before Father’s Day in 2027. The city’s free Juneteenth Celebration was 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater in Newtown Park (2026 listing); the 2027 date is not out yet.
