Chattahoochee, Northview and Johns Creek high schools each graduated more than 98% of the Class of 2026 on time. Only two Fulton specialty schools did better.

Chattahoochee High School graduated 99.1% of its Class of 2026 on time, up from 97% a year earlier. Northview and Johns Creek high schools both topped 98%. They are the three Fulton County high schools inside Johns Creek, and all three improved.

The figures come from Fulton County Schools’ 2026 graduation rate analysis, which the district released with its Sept. 28 announcement of a sixth straight districtwide record.

How the Johns Creek schools did

The rate is Georgia’s four-year adjusted cohort rate. It follows students from ninth grade and counts those who earn a regular diploma within four years, adjusting for students who move in or out.

Above 95% for seven years

The district’s analysis singles out schools that have stayed high since 2020. Chattahoochee, Johns Creek and Northview are three of the five it names as staying above 95% every year from 2020 to 2026. Cambridge and Milton high schools are the other two.

Chattahoochee Principal Michael Todd credited the school’s counselors, who he said meet with every 11th grader and their parents.

“Our counseling department meets individually with every 11th-grade student and their parents to review graduation plans, discuss post-secondary goals, and make any necessary adjustments to keep students on track for a successful senior year and graduation,” Todd said in the district’s report.

He said the school’s next focus is students learning English and students in special education. It plans to strengthen co-teaching and caseload advisement for both groups.

The district’s record

Fulton County Schools’ rate reached 93.4%, up from 85.5% in 2020. The district says that is a record for the sixth year in a row. Among the 21 high schools with rates in both years, 14 improved, two held steady and five declined.

“I am so proud of the momentum behind our graduation rates and excited to see more than 9 out of 10 students across our entire district graduate on time,” School Board President Kristin McCabe said in the announcement.
